Bird Woman

I'm the proud owner of this piece of art by Sally Mericle. The etching is from a magnesium plate. My friend Sally drew the line drawing with solvent into the *ground* on the prepared plate. Then wiped away the solvent with a cloth and only the lines were left. She then etched it in acid, and inked it with sepia colored ink and printed it on buff colored Arches paper.
