Dear Yesterday,
Hungering for tender kisses of
redemption I whispered into the
pulse of night.
Its wings fluttered misty dew
drops upon my bruised heart.
Falling into slumber, I found
myself dying in a childs garden
among the blooming flowers.
And on a single fragile petal I
recognized the lonesome face of yesterday.
With love & regret,
Carol

Apathy
Is the reason why our country is broken. It begins with the simple things, which we tend to ignore. Apathy enters the soul, eats away at ones capacity to have compassion. Like a disease it spreads and has been known to infect even those who seemed to care. Apathy is our enemy watching as our minds slumber in a world where nothing and no one matters.

Shifting Gears
A few years ago I saw my future past.
Imagine you're driving your car... looking straight ahead, and at the same time you're looking into the rear view mirror...catch a glimpse of the past- what you're leaving behind while you're headed into the future which you've already seen in the rear view mirror as it slipped into the past.
